Flowers and Spiders: a new way to view plans
Exploring the UK Local Government climate action ecosystem like a flower and spider
Over the Christmas and New Year period, our dedicated development team have been implementing features to enhance the ability to explore ecosystems.
Previous updates had improved the filtering so having selected a Shared Outcome that we wanted to explore we could focus on the relevant Plans, Regions (Teams) or Categories.
With the relevant plans selected, we now have a number of options:
- Under Flower view (the default) we can open the Outcomes linked to the Shared Outcome we’re investigating, these open up allowing us to see and compare the detail.
- If you see an Action or Outcome that particularly interests you, you can switch to Spider view and make that the centre of the web – in this way you can crawl across the ecosystem exploring all the connections.
- There is still the option to expand all ‘Level 2 connections’, so you can visualise all Actions contributing to a certain Shared Outcome.
