Visualise connections for better outcomes

Graph databases

OnePlanet use graph (network) database technology to enable users to see connections and analyse data.  Unlike more conventional ‘relational’ (or ‘cellular’) databases that store information in rows and columns, graph databases can map and reveal rich information about connections and relationships.

Explore and discover

Links and connections can be mapped intuitively and visualised making it easier to understand relationships between Outcomes you are looking to achieve and how you actions can be more joined-up. For example, you can and your colleagues or stakeholders can see how carbon emissions, how food is grown and the impacts on health and wellbeing. This is creates deeper understanding and the basis for structured collaboration, enabling ‘Shared Outcomes’ to be identified and consensus to be achieved.  It starts to break down the silos between sectors, organisations and departments.  We can then act more easily in a joined-up way, rather than focussing on issues in isolation.
