Everyone has a different way of viewing the world – a framework through which they make sense of that they see or do – from BREEAM and LEED in the built environment, to BCorp for companies. Most organisations have their own framework or set of principles, or themes. OnePlanet enables you to create and share your plan easily in one or more frameworks using our Lenses functionality. Plans can be developed using one of our standard frameworks including One Planet Living® principles and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), or industry-specific or custom frameworks.
Within the OnePlanet platform users are able to filter any of the 10 One Planet Principles.
You’re also able to switch from the One Planet Living Framework lens to any other lens that has been applied to your Workspace.
The One Planet Living Framework was developed together with Bioregional and WWF and comprises ten simple principles underpinned with detailed sustainability goals and guidance. The framework aims to achieve a vision of a world where everyone, everywhere lives healthy, happy lives within the limits of the planet – leaving space for wildlife and wilderness.
Another common framework and lens you might want to apply to your action plans are the Seventeen global goals adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015.
