For London Climate Week 2024, we brought together professionals in the health and climate sectors, with business and community leaders to investigate how we can take more joined-up and effective action on both health and climate within the context of the city.
Alongside Impact on Urban Health, we were joined by City of Westminster as well as two community projects from South London: The Brixton Project and Together We Ride. This was a really engaging session that generated some interesting ideas, be sure to check it out!
February 2024
Following on from our Unite for Climate initiative, OnePlanet partnered up with Rewired Earth to platform the Young Leaders’ UK Government Climate Action Manifesto.
We were joined at Portcullis House by individuals representing all sectors – public, private and voluntary – to hear the Young Leaders, to discuss the idea for an Office for Joined-Up Government and be present at the launch the report, ‘Rising Tides’, by Caymanian Young Leaders on the future of the Cayman Islands.
December 2023
In the run up to COP28, OnePlanet.com supported the first phase of young leaders to system-map local government climate action strategies into a publicly accessible integrated database.
Using the power of digital technology the OnePlanet platform allowed young leaders to prepare and present a set of recommendations for joined up action to MPs, Council CEOs and business leaders.
